Description and aim of the workshop
Stress is an automated reaction of the body to an immediate threat or danger. That is, the body is in a kind of state of alarm and prepares to either go into a kind of attack mode or escape mode to counteract the dangerous situation. This process is controlled by our autonomic nervous system, which results in an increase in certain bodily functions and also in the release of hormones and other substances in order to gain more energy.
While stress in the past was mainly the result of threats from the natural environment, in modern times threats are mainly "psychological stress". However, this immediate threat does not have the same character as the "destruction of the organism". In other words, the body receives a false alarm. External pressure in combination with internal mental conflicts triggers this state of alarm
The aim of the workshop is to introduce you to "correct breathing" and the way to apply it in a targeted manner. This is because "breathing" plays a decisive role in influencing different stress situations that occur in the body.
I.e. with a "correct breathing", certain symptoms in the body can be positively supported thereby and function as a protective shield. Whereas with incorrect breathing, these may be negatively affected.
This workshop is designed to guide participants to improve their quality of life by learning the positive effects of a "correct breathing technique".
Upon completion of the workshop, the participant will receive a certificate of attendance/certificate from the Apnoe-King Academy.
